Challenge: Memorize a Bible Verse Together

Pick a Bible verse to memorize together. I love to write verses on white boards or notes around the house so that I can see them every day. I personally am not good with memory but I do know we must try to hide God's Word in our hearts and hold it so close to us. Memorizing scripture is a helpful way to keep His Word that much closer.

Bible Verse:

Psalm 119:11, "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you."

Reflection Questions:

1. Why do you think it’s important to hide God's word in our hearts, especially in the context of marriage?

2. How can the verse we’ve chosen to memorize help strengthen your marriage during difficult times?

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

Help work in our mind to keep Your Word memorized and close to our hearts. Your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light for our path. We want to have Your words written on our hearts that way we can walk in Your light always.
