Challenge: 15-Minute Eye Contact

Sit face to face, hold hands, and talk WITHOUT distractions for at least 15 minutes. Keep eye contact this whole time.

Bible Verse:

James 1:19, "My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry"

Reflection Questions:

1. How does it feel to have uninterrupted time with your spouse?

2. What is something you appreciate about your spouse that you haven’t expressed lately?

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

Transform this time between my spouse and I. Help us to use this time to truly connect with one another on a deeper level. Give us both open minds and open hearts to the communication that will happen in these fifteen minutes. Work through our hearts to develop the deeper connection that our marriage longs for.
