Let's set the scene... it's a HOT day and I mean hot, we've went to three estimates today, sent invoices, and sent estimates out for approvals. Then I fixed a hole in the dog pen with my son and added a layer of dirt and pine shavings to their pen in the heat mind you! Then after cooking dinner the dogs starting acting up. One dog was throwing up because of the heat so I mopped up after her at least 5 times then our other dog starts peeing in the living room and continues to pee while walking to the kitchen 🙄😫 Where is everyone else during this pee and throw up marathon??? They are all on their phones knowing full well that I just have already been cleaning everything up and that there is more to be done. I lost it a bit and went on the little "let's just let mommy do everything" rant. The kids did step up and help pick up a little at least.
It's so difficult to get in that lovey mood when it seems like you have no help, am I right. But as I sit here I am cooling down and I realize they just need me and they may not even know what to do in those situations. I know my husband for sure gets lost in emergency situations and his brain kind of just fries and it's not his fault. It's hard being "the one" but that's what God has called me for as a wife and mother.
Tomorrow I plan to write about love and what it means to love. We need to know what live truly is before we can truly love our husbands in the way God intended.
Have a wonderful night everyone and You're not alone!
