Living for God... even in the small moments

thechoicetostay

Do you find yourself complaining during the mundane tasks of the day? I heard through a devotional study today of a woman who decided to choose to do everything with the intention of loving God which changed her life and outlook on life.

Colossians 3:23-24 NIV "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving."

This week I challenge you all to do all tasks with the intention for God. When you have a sink full of dishes... wash those dishes because God. Instead of complaining about the dirty dishes, be thankful that you have dishes that your family has eaten nourishing food from. When you have to go fill up your gas tank... run that errand because God. Let us not complain that we need to go out to fill our gas tank but be grateful that we have a car that can take us to places we need to go and that we have the resources to be able to fill that tank.

What task are you grateful for today?
