Let's be real, when you feel like crap your generally treat yourself like crap. Ladies if anyone knows about this it's me. I spent year putting myself last and losing all my glow over the years.
Before marriage I wore makeup, I dressed really pretty and was always in heels. Now I know some of it is being a mom as well but let's not kid ourself too long. You can still be that fun and sexy woman even with children. As the years went on I slowly let go of the heels, cut my makeup and skin care routine to literally just water on my face and lip balm because my lips were dry, and stopped wearing jeans all together. Leggings and the mom bun(the ugly one, not the cute fun bun) became my lifestyle. I also used to be an avid reader! That slowly left my agenda as well.
As I sit here now I am torn between staying "comfortable " which is really just an illusion of comfort or getting back to my roots! Obviously choosing to get back to my sexy self is where I want to be. I want you all to come with me too! The better you take care of yourself, the better you can take care of everyone around you. You'll also have more confidence to not let the bad stuff affect you as much. I now own a pair of jeans ( their comfy and fit me), I also bought some makeup and perfume from Sephora, and by writing this blog I feel like I'll make my way to loving books again too.
So here's your challenge, choose at least one way to boost you this week! Buy a sexy pair of jeans(get ones that fit good and are comfortable), put on some foundation, wear your hair down, just do something that makes you feel good about yourself and come back here to comment what you did and how it made you feel.
